To strengthen millet growing communities; acknowledge their right to nutrition, food, sustainable livelihood, dignity: Reclaim millets into the farming and policy landscape of India

Funded by Swallows through the Millet Network of India (MINI), the project aims to work towards recognition of millets as an integral part of the farming system, dietary and policy landscape of India; to promote millet farming and strengthen millet growing communities in Phek district of Nagaland. In 2018, NEN adopted 2 villages, Akhegwo and Meluri for intensive intervention.
