Discussion Paper- TOWARDS EQUALITY: PRIORITY ISSUES OF CONCERN FOR WOMEN IN POLICING IN ASSAM. The Joint Paper by North East Network and Commonwealth Human Right Initiatives examine issues linked to women’s representation in the police, working conditions and the challenges they face and outlines other such priority concerns for women in Assam Police. The major findings of the study were shared with representatives from Assam Police, Civil Society Organisations and media at a meeting held on 14th December, 2016.
