A 5-day Training of Trainers (ToT) for the NEN Farm School (NFS) was held at the NEN Resource Center, Chizami, bringing together 9 participants from 7 local partner organisations across 7 districts of Nagaland. The training was facilitated by Kuttss from Teaching Where It Matters, who was the resource person for the programme.
This intensive session equipped participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to facilitate NFS sessions in their respective communities—marking the beginning of a collaborative journey rooted in agroecology and community resilience.
Together with our partners Kenono Foundation, Lemsachenlok Society, SEWA Nagaland, North East Initiative Development Agency (NEIDA), Rongmei Baptist Association (RBA) and Better Life Foundation (BLF), and with the support of Bharat Agroecology Fund, we aim to foster youth leadership in agroecology, indigenous food systems, regenerative livelihoods and more.
Our participants are now all prepared to lead as facilitators in the districts of Kiphire, Tuensang, Noklak, Peren, Tseminyu, Shamator, and Longleng—contributing to a just, equitable, and sustainable future for their communities.
