A two day leadership Capacity Building Programme for SEWA Agevans was organised by North East Ntework Nagaland supported by SEWA Bharat. This programme was carried out in three districts of Nagaland namely: Kohima, Dimapur and Phek district on 30th September and 1st October 2020.
A total of 28 SEWA Agevans attended the programme; 9 from Kohima District, 9 from Dimapur District and 10 from Phek District
The programme was facilitated by North East Network staffs across the three districts where sessions were held on: Leadership Style, Decision Making, Self Care, Communication Skills and Conflict Management.
Resource person Nalini Nayak, General Secretary of SEWA Bharat graced the programme with her virtual presence and sensitized the SEWA Agevans on New Labour Codes and implications on unorganized workers. The presentation by Nalini Nayak followed the line of sensitizing the SEWA Agevans on The Industrial Relation Code 2019, The Wage Code 2017, The Social Security Code 2019 and the Code on Occupational Safety and Health.
Seno Tsuhah of North East Network Nagaland, also made a virtual appearance and gave a motivational talk to these women leaders, encouraging them to stand firm and take the burden of a leader and strive towards their goal in small steps.
