NEN, Assam collaborated with CBGA (Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability), Oxfam India and WNTA (Wada Na Todo Abhiyan) to organize a workshop on Inequality. The workshop was a platform to discuss various issues of inequality while bringing together organisations regionally. It was also an interactive training programme with emphasis on macro level planning and policy making. The sessions included- Recent Changes in the Policy Regime in India: Challenges and Opportunities for Advocacy; Taxation and Inclusive Development; Inequality in Access to essential Services; Gender Dimensions of Inequality; Conflict Related Issues in North-East; Global Policymaking Platforms and their Agenda: G20 and BRICS; and Economic Dimensions of Inequality.
