NEN Assam organised a training of trainers on ‘Enhancing facilitation skills to address Gender Based Violence against Women’ from 20th to 22nd September 2022.
22 mid-level functionaries of 9 organisations from 14 districts including the NEN programme team and representatives from GMK by NEN, working on Gender Based Violence at the community level participated in the training of trainers.
The main objectives were to :
- Enhance facilitation skills of trainers/caseworkers/community mobilisers on the issue of Gender-Based Violence.
- Develop perspectives as a trainer on the issue of Gender-Based Violence.
- Create a pool of resources on Gender-Based Violence at the District level.
The training was facilitated by Seema Sreeniwas and Gargee Guha of Swayam, Kolkata.
