Wekoweu Tsuhah (Akole) represented NEN in the Development Management Day, organised by the Indian School of Development Management (ISDM) held on 1st Feb 2019 in New Delhi. She was invited to participate in the panel on ‘Conversations on Development Management with Young Leaders’ alongside 4 young leaders in the development sector (Mantra 4Change, Azad Foundation, Aforestt, UdhyamVyapaar) with ISDM Founder Suparna Diwakar. The discussion centred on the future that young leaders are trying to build, development management and leadership.
The keynote speakers at the event were Ramon Magsaysay Awardees Anshu Gupta (Founder and Director, Goonj), Harish Hande (Co-Founder SELCO), Rajendra Singh (Founder, Tarun Bharat Sangh). Akole and NEN got the opportunity to be part of a very inspiring group of changemakers who have done innovative and amazing work around sustainable technology, health, education, environment, livelihoods, youth development, etc. The event also featured the founders of Loknaad, Charul Bharwada and Vinay Mahajan who performed their mesmerizing songs on hope, peace and democracy.
