World Environment Day 2021 was observed on 4th and 5th June through multiple virtual event by NEN in Assam.
Non-recycled waste can contribute to air pollution, water pollution, and put animal lives and human lives at risk. On 4th June, team members of NEN held a virtual exhibition of household items made from recycled products.
On 5th June, Local community members from 6 districts of Assam joined in to celebrate WED in an uniquely creative way. Youth and women joined a Virtual Exhibition to show case their creative side and protect the environment with up-cycled products made from waste materials! Field team members of NEN in Assam also celebrated WED by recycling waste materials.
