Women’s groups and activists apprise Sr Sarbanda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam, on emerging concerns related to safety of women in private space and public places. A memorandum with a set of recommendations on issues such as domestic violence, witch hunting, unsafe public spaces, sexual harassment of women at work place, etc. were submitted to Government of Assam.
