With our aim and motive in mind to help women in the society, North east Network, Nagalnd had organized a one day training on Leadership Capacity Building Programme, which was held on the 7th of October, 2020 for Yimchun Berű Arihako Shamator Area (YBASA), a tribal women organisation based at Shamator, Tuensang District. We had a total number of 15 women leaders present with us who attended the programme. The programme was facilitated by the staffs of North East Network Nagaland and we covered on the following sessions :
- Self discovery
- Leadership Styles
- Team Building
- Importance of communication
- Organisational Issues
- Planning way forward
The programme was well received with positive remarks by the participants as they stated that “NEN has helped us to have a clear vision of our organisation and enabled us to get recognition from the community with our work, especially from men. We believe that with the support from the community we will be able to achieve our goal which is to build and bring peace to the society.”
It doesn’t just stops here for us. We from North East Network will cater to the women in need in aid for a better and safer living and we do hope that differences are made with these kind of programmes.
