Anurita Pathak Hazarika, Executive Director of North East Network, has dedicated over two decades to advancing women’s rights, grassroots leadership, and gender justice in Assam. Inspired by the organisation’s feminist vision and the leadership of Monisha Behal, she has worked extensively to create safe spaces for women through Gramin Mahila Kendras across rural Assam, while also supporting livelihood initiatives such as Saneki Weaves for survivors of violence.
