Skill Enhancement Training Of NEN Women Collectives of Madanryting, East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya

North East Network has always believed in empowering women at spaces they are comfortable with, and collectivizing women to empower the same has been our objectives. Through the initiative of Skill enhancement programmes, NEN Meghalaya was able to collectivize women of Madanriting area who are skilled in tailoring for a home base initiative, in which they were trained, capacitated and their Skills were enhanced in Tailoring work from Cutting, designing, finishing, making of various dress material like pants, kurtas, kaftans, baby clothing, blouse making, curtains, cushion covers, bags, laptop sleeves and many others.  They were also trained on fabric painting work in which they have even learned to make Banners using Cloth and paint which an help reducing the use of Plastic material.
