Capacity building of Student and Staff nurses of Theresa Nursing Institute, Ganesh Das Hospital and Civil Hospital, Nongpoh has been consistently going strong through our collaborations with the Health Department on ‘Developing a health sector response to VAW’ with the objective of building capacities on the issue of violence against women, its health implications, their legal and ethical role in responding to the same; and to develop necessary orientation, awareness, and abilities to perform a catalytic role as facilitators of change.
