Zine is a medium for boundless creative expressions, for transporting stories waiting to be told. On 23rd and 24th September 2023, select members of Prayas Youth Collective of NEN from 3 districts gathered for the second phase of a Zine-Making Workshop with resource person – Mayur Rajbongshi.
Exploring a wide range of topics: from alarming environmental issues to intricacies of gender and social realities, this zine workshop was a space for new ideas, shaping visions of change. Some of the zines created during this two-day training were titled গৰাখহনীয়া (Landslides), ৰূপান্তৰ (Transformation), মৰুভূমি আহে লাহে লাহে (Land Becomes Arid Slowly), কলা নদী (Black River), অংকুৰণ (Germination), Organic vs Chemical (জৈৱিক আৰু অজৈৱিক), Women’s Bodies are Not Battlefields, etc.
