NEN organised a “Grow your Own Food” Program at Wahliewlong Village, West Khasi Hills District. With the objective to promote food security and a healthy nutritious food for the children, NEN in Collaboration with the two Lower Primary Schools of the village had organised the program by allowing children to feel responsible for the food they grow by bringing their own tools, seed, manure and geared up to dirty their hands and feet in the garden to grow food. In the process, the rapport and team work of the two schools was also build and strengthen.
